Margo Bennett has over 36 years of law enforcement experience. She spent 13 years in the Federal Bureau of Investigation and investigated white collar & reactive crimes. Assigned to the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va., Margo developed training expertise in the areas of Interview & Interrogation, Contemporary Issues in Law Enforcement, Violence in the Workplace, Hostage Negotiations, and various other fields of study.

Margo holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology. In 2002, Margo moved to California and was the Administration and Outreach Captain for the University of California Police Department Berkeley. She was selected as the UCPD Berkeley Chief in April 2013. Margo resides in the San Francisco Bay area.
