Jeff HaukDirector, Public Safety and Police Authority Services Memorial Healthcare

Jeff Hauk is the Director, Public Safety and Police Authority Services at Memorial Healthcare, in Owosso, MI, where he is responsible for providing leadership, strategic planning, and administrative direction for all protective related functions. He is responsible for conceptualizing and building their nationally recognized and comprehensive protective program. Jeff has been involved in corporate security and public safety for over 20 years. Jeff is a graduate of Central Michigan University and the prestigious R.L. Oatman Executive Protection Academy, as well as achieving the highly respected professional designation as a Certified Protection Professional. In 2008, he was first recognized by Security Director’s News as one of the top security risk leaders in their inaugural “20 under 40” list of up and coming security leaders. In the years since, Jeff has accumulated numerous certifications and awards, in 2017, he was awarded Campus Safety Magazine’s “Security Director of the Year” award. Over the years, Jeff has developed a reputation for a high level of organizational professionalism and a consistent ability to effectively deal with emerging security challenges, creativity in employing the best industry practices, as well as a knack at developing critical public and private partnerships with federal, state and local first responders. Jeff is an active member of many Security, Risk and Emergency Management Professional Associations as well as, National Defense, Counterterrorism, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, and Leadership Councils. In his free time, he enjoys spending as much quality time with his wife (Julie) and their three boys (Casey, Cory and CJ). In addition to traveling and outdoor activities, they are avid sport fans, specifically following Michigan State University basketball and the Detroit Lions.
