Mark Littlestone is a Lieutenant with the UCLA Police Department where he has worked for the past 26 years. He currently supervises Day Watch Patrol Operations, serving the needs of approximately 80,000 students, staff, faculty and visitors each day. Prior to his current assignment he supervised the Investigations Division, comprised of Detectives, Property and Evidence, Crime Analysis, Intelligence, Threat Management and Joint Terrorism and High Tech Task Force officers.
Over his 26 year career, his assignments have included Threat Management, Investigations, Firearms/Taser and Use of Force Options Instructor, Dignitary Protection, PIO and Systemwide Response Team Commander.
With a background in forensics and training from the US Secret Service, the FBI and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals he regularly lectures and consults on the topics of Threat Assessment, Workplace Violence, Responses to Active Shooters, and Dealing with Confrontational People. Lieutenant Littlestone is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Class #254 and is also a graduate from UC Berkeley, holding a degree in Microbiology and Immunology.
In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor sports, travel, photography and time with his family.
