Chief, Campus Safety
John Ojeisekhoba is the founder and CEO of J&O Emergency Management and Security Consultants. John travels around the country conducting assessments and presenting seminars for institutions of higher learning as well as other organizations. John has also served as motivational speaker at the college and municipal level.
John serves as the Chief of Campus Safety at Biola University in La Mirada, California and has the overall responsibility for the University’s robust safety and disaster preparedness program. John has served as an adjunct faculty member at Biola University for over thirteen years and teaches the basic Rape and Aggression Defense Systems course as a one unit academic course.
John has received numerous awards which include the Campus Safety Magazine’s Director of the Year Award, Reserve Police Officer of the Year Award, the Merit Award from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, the prestigious Hoffman Award from Biola University, a Special Recognition Award from the County of Los Angeles, a Special Achievement Award from Sheriff Jim McDonnell of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a Special Achievement Award from the Biola University Board of Trustees, and the Mayor of La Mirada Award.
John received a Master’s Degree in International Business & Intercultural Studies from Biola in 2000, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University in 2004.
John is a sworn Reserve Police Officer in the city of Garden Grove, California, and is assigned to duties that are critical to the department. John serves as a co-chair of the City of La Mirada Disaster Steering Committee and has extensive field experience.
